Burton Bradstock Parish Council Meeting - Wednesday 2 October 2002

Planning
Consultation:

1/W/2002/1611 Chesil Court, South Annings - Construct additional car parking, erect screen walling and relocate dry area.

Children's Play Area
Despite several attempts to stop people using the roundabout in the playing field, people are still letting their children on this equipment. The roundabout is obviously broken and could be extremely DANGEROUS. We are awaiting replacement of this equipment and a general overhaul of the area. Please do not use the roundabout until it is repaired!!!
Work should commence on Monday 7th October…

Youth Club
The Youth Club is still in need of some adult help just to be there and chat to the young people. If anybody has a spare couple of hours on Friday evenings (7.00 - 9.30pm) and would like to help with the supervision of this club, please contact Fel Moore or Elise Ripley.

Dog Walkers
Now that we have reached the time of year that your dog can happily run along the beach, please do still be vigilant and remember to poop-and scoop!!! We know that the majority of dog owners are responsible, but there is still a problem of a few little piles appearing around our lovely village…please clean up and make it a safer more pleasant place for all of us walkers.

Benches
One of the benches at the top of Cliff Lane has disappeared!!! Any information on this would be appreciated, and if any member of the Parish would like to supply a bench to mark a special occasion or remember a loved one, there is now a vacant spot with a lovely view of our Jurassic Coast!

Hive Beach Café
Just a reminder that the café is open all year round, and the carpark is free to park as from Tuesday 8th October. Why not pop in for a coffee or lunch and enjoy the lovely Autumn views along the World Heritage Site?
